Easton Police Arrest Man For Trafficking Heroine
Police Chief Gary Sullivan said the arrest came after a week long investigation of Kim allegedly selling heroine in the Easton area.

EASTON, MA — Police arrested James Kim, 33 of Easton yesterday afternoon for multiple drug charges. Police Chief Gary Sullivan said the arrest came after a week long investigation of Kim allegedly selling heroine in Easton and surrounding towns.
Kim's charges included:
- Trafficking Heroine
- Possession of a Class B Drug (Suboxone)
- Possession of a Class E Drug (Assorted pills)
- Conspiracy to violate the drug law.
As part of the investigation, detectives obtained search warrants for Kim's home and white Honda Civic. At approximately 4:30 p.m. yesterday, detectives from the Easton Police and Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force witnessed Kim leaving his house at Shagbark Road.

Easton Police then pulled over, detained Kim, and took him back to his home to search the premises. Kim peacefully allowed the officers to enter and search his home.
Inside Kim's bedroom, police allegedly found nine grams of heroine, two pill bottles with approximately 150 assorted pills, two doses of Suboxone, four digital scales, drug packaging materials, and $1,400 cash. During booking, officers reportedly found another 18 grams of heroine in Kim's pants. The heroine was wrapped in small individual bags.

Kim's arraignment is expected to occur today at Taunton District Court. Bail is set at $5,040.
