Easton Police Arrest Stoughton Man For Fifth Drunk Driving Charge
Joseph Guiney was transported to the New Bedford House of Correction.

A Stoughton man was arrested in Easton for his fifth offense of drunk driving Saturday night at approximately 7 p.m. after he was found passed out inside a van in a parking lot.
Joseph Guiney, 44, of 99 Porter St., Stoughton, was arrested for Operating Under the Influence, fifth offense. He was held on $2,000 cash bail and transported to New Bedford House of Correction Saturday. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Taunton District Court Monday.

Police Chief Allen Krajcik said in a statement that Guiney fell to the ground when officers Darren Mangott and Patrick Taylor asked him to step out of the vehicle, which was located in the Tedeschi store on Columbus Ave. He then had to be carried to the police cruiser because of his "heavy intoxication."
