Easton Police Bust 'Major Distributor of Heroin'

Steven J. Glover was arrested and 600 grams of heroin were seized during a pair of police raids.

Easton police on Thursday said they busted a "major" heroin dealer.

Steven J. Glover, 31, of 506 Plymouth Ave., Marshfield, was arrested Wednesday night after police raided his home. Police also raided a building at 427 Centre St. in Brockton.

Authorities said they seized 600 grams of heroin worth about $60,000, $26,000 in cash, and two vehicles. They said they also arrested five other people.

Glover was charged with drug trafficking, distribution of drugs near a school zone, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, among other charges.

"This was the result of a lengthy drug investigation by the Easton
Police Detective Division," Police Chief Allen Krajcik said in a statement. "Police believe Glover was a major distributor of heroin to the Easton area."

The raids were the results of a combined effort by Easton police, Marshfield police, Brockton police, members of the Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force, and members of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
