EASTON, MA — Easton police have charged a Boston woman in connection with vehicle break-ins in the downtown area earlier this month. Police said Carla Miranda, 28, was charged with breaking and entering of a vehicle at night, receiving stolen property and larceny over $1,200.

Police said Miranda was detained and her vehicle impounded after a Jan. 13 traffic stop after they determined there was probable cause that she was a suspect in the break-ins. During the ensuing investigation, police said a warrant search of Miranda's vehicle and a Lincoln Street home connected her to the downtown break-ins.

Police said she was charged on Wednesday and will be arraigned in Taunton District Court.
