Easton Police Make Arrest at Herman Distributors Sunday Night

An arrest late Sunday night capped off six arrests made by Easton Police this week.

arrested a Pepperell man late Sunday night after an investigation involving a k-9 unit.

Nicholas Litchfield, 26, of 39 Shattuck Street, Pepperell was arrested for a straight warrant late Sunday night after police responded to suspicious activity at Herman Distributors at 800 Washington Street.

At 11:45 p.m., police were notified of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Upon arriving, officers found that the vehicle was still warm. A k-9 unit was called for assistance from Stoughton and the area was secured. Litchfield was found and arrested shortly after.

Donuts at Frothingham Park

Police responded to a call at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday regarding a vehicle illegally on the track at . A second call reported the vehicle "doing donuts" on the baseball field.

Police responded and found damage to the track and field but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Assault with Dangerous Weapon Friday

Police were informed of a breaking and entering incident at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Friday on Adam Street. A resident said a man was smashing windows at his residence and trying to gain entry.

David Dasilva, 26, of 1 Adam Street was arrested for assault after he was stopped by Easton police heading northbound on route 138.

OUI Reported Friday

An Easton man was arrested for drunk driving in the parking lot of Lumber Friday night.

Glenn Harvey, 63, of 534 Foundry Street was arrested for operating under the influence after an anonymous caller at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Minors Arrested for Posession of Alcohol

Two Brockton men were arrested  after they were found drinking in the High School parking lot Friday night.

Kevin Veiga, 19, of 10 Marion St., Brockton and William Jamssens, 18, of 75 Melrose Ave, Brockton were arrested for posession of alcohol under the age of 21 after a motorist called Easton Police Friday night at approximately 7 p.m. Friday.

OUI Arrest Wednesday

An Easton woman was arrested for drunk driving Wednesday evening after receiving a call from on Foundry Street.

Barbara Morris, 54, of 31 Briarwood Circle, was arrested for Operating Under the Influence. Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m.
