Easton Police Search for Male Suspect in Gun Store Theft

Store owner is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of the suspect.

 

Easton Police are looking for a man who stole a $500 Kahr nine millimeter semi auto handgun from Zero Hour Arms with off-duty police officers in the store Tuesday at 6 p.m., according to a report on myfoxboston.com.

Anyone with any information about the case is asked to call 508-230-3322. Det. Sgt. Jack Lynn and Det. Leonard Coe are investigating the case. All tips are confidental.

Owner James Sheppard is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading the arrest of the subject who is seen clearly on the surveillance camera walking int, then moving his way throughout the store before exiting with the gun.

"I've never seen like," said Sheppard to Fox25. "I tugged on the lock for 45 minutes trying to get it open. I couldn't figure out how he did it."
