Easton State Representatives Win Reelection

Easton’s representatives on Beacon Hill will remain the same for another two years.

In the state house, incumbent Republican Shaunna O’Connell defeated Democrat Keavin P. Duffy 6,787 votes to 4,277 votes to remain the representative of the Third Bristol District. O’Connell will return to the Massachusetts House of Representatives for her third term.

Claire Cronin, who represents the 11th Plymouth District, was reelected to her second term in the state house unopposed.

In the State Senate, incumbent Democrat Thomas Kennedy of the Second Plymouth and Bristol District won a fourth term by defeating Republican Viola Ryerson 28,793 votes to 14,255 votes.

State Senator Brian Joyce, who represents the Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth District, was re-elected to a tenth term in the State Senate unopposed.
