From the Easton Police DepartmentYesterday at around 4 p.m., Easton detectives along with detectives from Norton, Taunton, Sharon and members of the Easton patrol division arrested an Easton woman for prostitution at her apartment at 15 Foundry Street South Easton. Arrested was Chelsea Volcjak, age 27 of 15 Foundry Street, apartment B-7. Volcjak was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. Also arrested was her boyfriend, Ryan Meleedy, age 29 of the same address. He was arrested on a larceny warrant.The investigation began after detectives received several complaints from residents from the apartment complex. Both were transported to the New Bedford House of Correction for the night and will be arraigned this morning in Taunton District Court.
