Earth Oven Workshop

The Ames Free Library Foodie Group Presents "Earth Oven Workshop".  This workshop will be run by Stu Silverstein and Marty Pearson.

Stu is an artist who bakes a lot of bread, builds earth ovens and writes about the process.His latest book is "Bread, Earth and Fire". Marty Pearson is a mason who has built ovens across the country and in Winter travels to Guatemala with Stu to build stoves for Mayans.

Participation is limited to 24 individuals 18 and over. Registration and a $20 fee is required. You may register and pay the fee online www.amesfreelibrary.org or call the library if you have trouble registering 508 238 2000.

Some lucky participants will go home with a mini-oven.
