Are you ready for some fun?  If you have ever thought about picking up a club, either again or for the first time, you can make golf your sport for a lifetime. Get Golf Ready is designed to teach you in five lessons everything you’ll need to know to step onto a golf course and play with confidence. Lessons will include on-course activities taught by trained PGA and LPGA Professionals who will make sure you have fun each step of the way.  Classes are either 5 hours over three weeks, or over the course of 5 consecutive weeks. Cost per student is $125.00. Class size is limited so be sure to register early.

 Curriculum

 Day 1 - Introduction to Golf, including history, etiquette, how to dress and what to carry, how to stand, grip, and take aim, and what the role of each club is and how to use it. An introduction to putting will also take place.

 Day 2 - Topics include chipping, pitching, and greenside bunker shots, keeping healthy with golf and proper warm-up techniques, how to care for the golf course, and pace of play.

 Day 3 -Today we cover iron play and approach shots, stretching and how to avoid injury, who plays first in a group, the importance of marking your ball, the rules of the fairway rough and bunkers, introduction and hand-out for the “It’s Ok Rules.”

 Day 4 -Time to swing some heavy metal with fairway woods and drivers. How and where to tee off to begin play, which markers to use and when, where to park your cart at the teeing area, ready golf, and where to stand at all times.

 Day 5 -Now the rubber meets the road as we cover scoring, the basic rules of golf, navigating from tee to green, on course signage, scramble formats and outings, upcoming

Graduate Outings. 

Congratulations, now that you have completed the Get Golf Ready I program you are now ready to participate in a Graduate Outing, and may enroll in Get Golf Ready II. Graduate outings use fun and casual formats where you can continue to build your skills, and connect with other golfers of similar ability. Mentors will be available to help guide you and make sure you have a fun experience while laying.
