The Easton Cultural Council is planning its second annual Lantern Parade for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 27. The route will run from the Easton Historical Society headquarters on Mechanic Street to the Ames Free Library on Main Street.
If you would like to join in the making of a lantern, workshops are being held at several locations:
Children’s Museum of Easton: 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 23.
East Recreation Department, Frothingham Hall: 3 p.m. Aug. 24.
Village Toy Shop: 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 25.
