Marcia Noddell, who has been making pie crusts for the last 30 years, will demonstrate simple and elegant tricks to making sensational traditional piecrust for the holidays as well as introduce some alternate pastry bottom options.
Kathleen Wall, a Colonial Foodways Culinarian from Plimouth Plantation, and a member of Culinary Historians of Boston will present the history of "pies" focusing on cranberry tarts and pumpkin pies of the l7th century and bringing them to the modern Thanksgiving table.
Ms. Wall will have recipes available as well.
