Wheaton Farm Conservation Area Walk

A woodland walk will be conducted by The Wheaton Farm Committee of The NRT.  It will start from the main parking lot (accessed by the paved road North of 519 Bay Road) and traverse to the "Cave" ( a unique rock formation) near the western most border of Wheaton Farm.

Dress should be appropriate for possible muddy conditions and a stream crossing.

Come and enjoy a fall afternoon in the woods, viewing some of the more interesting features of this preserved conservation jewel. The Wheaton Farm Management Area is the largest contiguos conservation area owned and preserved by Easton's Conservation Commission. Through their vision and efforts, over the past almost 45 years, this property has expanded from it's original purchase of roughly 250 acres in 1967, to it's present makeup of over 1200 acres.  It contains a rich ecological mixture of woodlands (of many types and ages), open fields, ponds and streams, walking trails and a broad range of wildlife species.
