Federal and State Authorities Investigate Police Knowlege of Brothels

Authorities investigate whether or not Brockton Police turned a "blind eye" to the alleged prostitution ring.

The Boston Herald reported Thursday that federal and state authorities are probing whether or not Brockton Police turned a "blind-eye" to an alleged prostitution ring at three local spas.

According to the Herald, investigators are looking into whether or not police ignored a report from a worker at one of the spas.

42-year-old Terry Mussari of Stoughton, and 31-year-old Tiffany Burgess, of Raynham, were arrested last week on prostitution charges. Mussari owns Aria Day Spa on the Brockton-Easton line. She also owns spas in Canton and Norwood.
