Fire Units Respond to a North Easton Savings Alarm Thursday Morning

A faulty alarm at North Easton Savings Bank kept firefighters busy today.

At 8:49 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a call at North Easton Savings Bank on 20 Eastman St. Two pumper engines arrived at the scene 10 minutes later, only to report a faulty alarm at the bank. The fire department reported a problem with the internal alarm system and instructed the bank to inform its alarm company.

Washington Street/Depot Street Accident Wednesday

Just after noon time on Wednesday, the Easton fire department received a report that there had been a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Route 106 and 138. Firefighter White, who was off-duty at the time was on the scene and reported no injuries. EMTs were called back but police remained on the scene.

Smoke on Turnpike Street

At 10:22 p.m. on Tuesday, fire units responeded to a 911 call from Turnpike Street. It was reported that smoke was coming from a building at 501 Turnpike St. Three fire trucks were deployed to find the culprit of the smoke: a dryer vent. The trucks returned to the station.

Motercycle and Car Accident on Foundry Street

Emergency units were deployed Tuesday at 7:10 a.m. upon learning of a motor vehicle accident on Foundry Street. Both a fire unit and an ambulance were deployed to 250 Foundry Street. Two people were transported to Good Samaratin Medical Center.

Car Accident on Purchase and Washington Street on Monday

Emergency vehicles responded to a reported car accident on Monday on the corner of Purchase Street and Washington Street near Doyles Bar. Both a fire engine and an ambulence arrived on the scene and transported two patients to Good Samaratin Medical Center.
