
The Easton Huskies had three players named to the Cranberry League all-star team. Dave Billotte, a former Norton High standout, was named as the second baseman, while Dan Morse was selected as outfielder and Joe Lucier as a pitcher.

In the league playoffs, Braintree defeated Canton, 7-0, in the championship. Both Braintree and Canton will be moving on to the Stan Musial Regionals in Wallingford, Conn. this week. In the semifinals, Canton beat Weymouth, 4-1, while Braintree defeated the Huskies by the same score.
