Four Minor Accidents Reported After Saturday Snowstorm

Four accidents were reported Saturday morning through Sunday morning

 

Four motor vehicle accidents, none of which required hospital transports, were reported between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday during one of the first snows of the season.

The first accident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday when a vehicle slid off the road on Summer Street. Police and fire units responded but no injuries were reported. At approximately 11 a.m., an accident occurred at Quality Automotive Services on Foundry Street with no injuries. Later that night, a two car motor vehicle accident was reported at Daley's Corner near Hilliard’s.

The next morning, a Pebblebrook Road resident reported an accident the night before involving a vehicle hitting a mailbox and driving on a lawn.

One person was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center on Friday at approximately 11 p.m. after a three-car motor vehicle accident.

Attempted Breaking and Entering Reported on Rockland Street

A Rockland Street resident told Easton Police Friday that there had been an attempted breaking and entering the night before. He said there were footprints leading around his house and the basement handle was bent.

Police spoke to the party and advised.

Alleged Breaking and Entering at Five Corners Petroleum

Police responded to an alleged breaking and entering incident on Thursday night at approximately 11:30. An employee on the scene said that a window had been smashed. Police responded and the area was clear.
