Three Tigers Compete in Indoor Track and Field All-States

Three Oliver Ames track and field athletes are coming off a weekend competing in the Massachusetts All-State Championships for Indoor Track and Field.

Seniors Sean Gorham and Laura Daley joined freshman Olivia Mileika in representing the Tigers.

Mileika competed in the high jump, coming in 12th with a mark of 5-00.00

Gorham put up a strong performance in the boys' 1000 meeter, placing 7th with a time of 2:32.85. The mark is a new school record.

Daley also put up a strong performance in the shotput, placing 7th with a distance of 36-08.00.

The Tigers will compete on Tuesday and Wednesday in pentathlon events.

Tuesday, the Girls Pentathlon team will consist of Alecia Alleyne, Christina Franciosi and Michaela Nichols.

Wednesday the Boys Pentathlon team will consist of Nick Blelloch, Dan Lambert and Ben Malin.
