House of Possibilities, a disability services provider with locations in Easton and Boston, has been chosen as a finalist for the Red Sox Foundation's 2022 IMPACT Awards presented by the Ruderman Family Foundation. The IMPACT Awards -- Inspiring More Philanthropy Across Charities Together -- provide Red Sox fans in the six New England states with the chance to nominate their favorite local non-profit organization for the opportunity to win a grant from the Red Sox Foundation. House of Possibilities is one of five non-profit organizations in Massachusetts chosen as a finalist.

Red Sox Nation will decide which three finalists will receive a prize. The three organizations with the most votes in each state will win a grant; $10,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place. "House of Possibilities is honored to have been selected as a finalist for the 2022 IMPACT Awards. Throughout COVID, the mental health of our members -- children and adults with disabilities -- their families, and our staff was a top priority. Reducing isolation, combating depression, and more, is what drove us to lead the industry in providing virtual services, be one of the first providers to resume in-person services and return to pre-COVID program levels, and introduce new programs to respond to our communities' changing needs," said Katie Terino, Executive Director of House of Possibilities.

This grant award would help the House of Possibilities continue to shift the paradigm of disability services while responding to the impacts of shrinking availability of services, increasing waitlists, and a workforce crisis resulting from the pandemic.

Over 65 House of Possibilities staff across three locations support individuals ages 8 through adulthood with a variety of disabilities, addressing members' cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Established in 2003, the House of Possibilities (HOPe) provides disability services to over 300 children and adults annually from over 60 communities across Massachusetts. Its flagship program, Children’s Overnight Respite, is the only non-emergency overnight respite program for children in the state. HOPe also offers Career & Community Access, DayHabilitation, Overnight Respite for adults, Autism Support Services, and Social & Recreational programs.

HOPe is based out of a home-like facility in Easton, MA on the Stonehill College campus, and has an embedded site at Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) Economic Opportunity Center located at 75 Federal Street in Boston, as well as operates a social enterprise out of the Boston Public Market called HOPe Unlimited.
