Kitchen Fire Sends Officials to Gilmore Road Monday
A small kitchen fire and a few disorderly conduct arrests have kept emergency officials busy.

were called to 61 Gilmore Road Monday afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m. for a reported fire.
Upon arrival, officials found a small kitchen fire that was quickly extinguished. Fire Chief Tom Stone said the fire may have been caused by a toaster.

Emergency officials responded to a call on Turnpike and Foundry Street Sunday at approximately 5:20 p.m. No injuries were reported.

received a call Friday at approximately 11:30 p.m. about a man reportedly trying to break-in to a clubhouse on Adams Street.
Brian Durand, 34, of 7 Nancy Road was arrested for breaking and entering after police responded.
Accident Near South Easton Cemetery Re-Routed Traffic Friday
A motor vehicle allegedly drove into a pole Friday at approximately 4:20 p.m. at South Easton Cemetery. The crash sent the driver and one pedestrian to Good Samaritan Medical Center. The pedestrian reportedly had an injury to his hand.
The crash snapped a pole in half and destroyed the iron fence near the cemetery. Traffic was re-routed through the cemetery while officials responded.
Brockton PD Assist in OUI Arrest Thursday Night
A Raynham man driving a black Nissan was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol Thursday night after Easton, Brockton and police responded to an erratic driver on Pearl Street.
Shuba Prabhaker Ramaiah, 28, of Raynham was arrested for OUI when he was pulled over by a Brockton cruiser in front of Stonehill College on Belmont Street.
Police Arrest Easton Man for Disorderly Conduct
Police responded to a call to Mobil Gas Station on Foundry Street Thursday night regarding a possibly drunk, disorderly person on the in the store..
Upon arrival, Easton Police arrested George Silva, 52, of Blackbrook Road for disorderly conduct. He was released on bail early Friday morning.
At 2:30 p.m. Friday, Silva was arrested on warrant charges for suspended license for operating under the influence, and for disorderly conduct. He was transported to Ash Street Jail in New Beford.
