'The Last Leprechaun' Spotted in Easton
Musical showcasing local talent coming to EMS stage April 28–May 1
The musical "The Last Leprechaun" will be appearing at the Easton Middle School auditorium, Columbus Avenue, on Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 29 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Sunday, May 1 at 2 p.m.
"The Last Leprechaun" is the story of the only leprechaun left on earth, accidentally left behind when the other leprechauns went to live in a secret magical place beneath the earth. But this leprechaun is not exactly alone. He's being chased by a gang of angry evil fairies who had been denied access to the underworld, as well as a greedy Irishman who plans to make his fortune by capturing the leprechaun and his gold. Molly O'Brien, a young American girl visiting her relatives in Ireland, helps the leprechaun reunite with his friends and family.
The show is double cast; in the Friday/Saturday afternoon cast, Molly will be played by Cameron Isveck and the leprechaun by Owen Parker. Nick Williams appears as the Irishman, Seamus O'Malley and Emma Lawson as Eileree, the queen of the evil fairies. Other lead roles will be played by Danielle Geary, Aislynn Blaney, Cassie Passias, Lindsey Kreger and Chris Galas.
