The Oliver Ames baseball coach will be honored as part of the class of 2012.

The Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association announced this week that Oliver Ames' Leo Duggan will be inducted as a member of the Class of 2012 Hall of Fame.

Duggan, who has coached the Tigers since 1987, will be inducted in the same class as rival Joel Peckham of Sharon. In total, five high school baseball coaches will be inducted this year.

Below is Duggan's biography, provided by the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association:

Coach Duggan is currently in his 41st year of high school coaching. Leo has never had a year when he was not coaching something.  Assistant football, freshmen and JV baseball, varsity softball, varsity golf and, of course, varsity baseball are a part of his coaching history. He has been successful with all of those teams.

Leo has been the Varsity Baseball coach at OAHS since 1987 and begins his 27th year this spring.
