Updated: Lightning Results in Outages, Road Closure

Lantern Lane was closed due to down wires. It is now back open.

A stormy Monday morning has wrecked havoc on Easton's streets and power services.

Easton Fire Officials said Monday afternoon that Lantern Lane is back open after down trees and wires caused power outages Monday morning.

Officials said three houses were out of service and high voltage wires were on the streets Monday. The Easton DPW, along with National Grid, worked together to clear the roads and restore power to Easton residents.
