Easton Dog Doing All Right After Evening in Well
Firefighters in Taunton saved a 2-year-old goldendoodle after he fell down a 30-foot well.

After two near death incidents, a Taunton dog may be the luckiest pup around.
Tuesday morning, firefighters in Taunton saved Buddy the dog after he was found nearly 30 feet underground in a well on his owner’s property. Initially, his family assumed the worse when he went missing Monday night, but Buddy’s father ran to the well the next morning, with the family following and spotting the dog.

Jared Jackson of the Taunton Fire Department told WPRI that the 2-year-old goldendoodle was lifted out of the well in a makeshift rig.
While he was cold and miserable, the pup did not suffer any injuries.

This isn’t Buddy’s first incident from this week. Earlier, he survived being hit by a car.
