Local Police Hunting for Sex Offender on the Run
James Bowen is wanted on several warrants.
Authorities are on the hunt for a Taunton sex offender.
James M. Bowen, 50, is wanted on several warrants from Norfolk Superior Court and Taunton District Court.
Bowen is a level 3 sex offender. Police said about two weeks ago, he fled when State Police tried to arrest him on a warrant.
In 2001, Bowen was convicted of six counts of aggravated rape.
Bowen is 5 feet, 10 inches, weighs 200 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
