Man in South Carolina Arrested, Charged in Easton Shooting
Michael Arthur Noguera, 47, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., have been arrested.

EASTON, MA — A Florida man has been arrested in South Carolina and charged in connection to Tuesday's shooting.
Michael Arthur Noguera, 47, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., was taken into custody in Conway, S.C. and charged with accessory to murder after the fact, armed robbery, and larceny over $250, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's office.
Authorities say Noguera was found in a trailer on Canine Drive in Conway, SC. He is being charged as a fugitive from justice and is scheduled to appear in an Horry County court Monday, at which point the extradition process will begin.

Tuesday, Easton police received a 911 call from a woman who told police that her young sons found a man suffering from a gunshot wound while riding their bikes in the area between Pond Street and Langwater Pond. The man, identified as former Easton resident Daniel Smith, was found about 25 yards into the woods.
He was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton before being flown to Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, where he remained in critical condition until Friday night, when he died at the hospital, the DA's office said.

Authorities are unsure if the defendant will waive extradition and be returned to Massachusetts to be arraigned or fight extradition and delay his return to Massachusetts.
Investigators continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle, believed to be connected to the case. If anyone in the region has seen a red 2016 Mazda 3 sedan with Florida license plate tag number 372QQK, they are asked to contact the Easton Police Department at 508-230-3322.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
