There will be no subway, trolleys or Commuter Rails departing from Boston after 7 p.m.

Limited MBTA bus service will continue until the end of regular service hours, but customers are advised that connections to subway and Commuter Rail lines will not be available. Visit the MBTA website for more information.

The announcement comes on the heels of an earlier decision to suspend all Commuter Rail service inbound to Boston.

All day, the Commuter Rail and subway have been plagued with delays and cancellation. The most notable incident came in Quincy where nearly 50 people were stuck in a Red Line train for two hours after snow caused the third rail to lose power.

During a press conference on Monday, Governor Charlie Baker called the performance by the MBTA, “unacceptable.”
