OA Represented Well at Foot Locker Northeast Cross Country Championships

Seven Oliver Ames cross country runners participated in the Foot Locker Northeast Championships Saturday at Sunken Meadow State Park in New York.

OA's Drew Beck and Shannon Hickey ran in the seeded championship races.

Beck came in 42nd overall in the boys' race with a time of 16:57.2. He was about a minute behind Hockomock rival Chistopher Allen of King Philip, who finished 9th with a time of 16:01.4. Brandon Sullivan of Foxborough came in just in front of Beck in 36th place with a time of 16:50.6. KP's Owen Gonser came in 57th with a time of 17:17.

In the girls' race, Hickey's time of 20:28 was good for 53rd overall.

In the girls' sophomore races, Jillian McAuliffe and Lindsey Foster both represented OA. McAuliffe fininshed 10th in the race with a time of 22:30.1 and Foster finished 15th with a time of 23:12.1.

On the boys' side of the sophomore races, Dan Moverman of OA finished 5th with a time of 17:32.

OA's Connor Donovan and Cameron Gardner both participated in the boys' freshman race. Donovan finished 9th with a time of 18:06.8 and Gardner finished 17th with a time of 19:03.9
