Oliver Ames Baseball South Sectional Semifinal Game Rescheduled to Friday

The MIAA Division II South Sectional Tournament Semi-Finals between Oliver Ames and Plymouth North has been rescheduled from Thursday in Brockton to Friday at Plymouth North.

Instead of a night game at Marciano Stadium, wet field conditions following afternoon thundershowers have forced the Tigers to play at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Plymouth North.

With Marciano Stadium off limits tomorrow because of a Brockton Rox game, Oliver Ames Athletic Director Jim Von Euw said OA and Plymouth North took part in a coin flip to determine field location.

Plymouth North won, setting up a bus trip for the Tigers.

The winner will play either Hopkinton, Sharon, or Dighton Rehoboth in the South Sectional Finals Saturday. For a full look at brackets, click here.
