Oliver Ames' Safe Grad Night Prepares for 20th Year

Community help needed to help make OAHS Safe Grad Night a success

Safe Grad Night…It’s a Community Event

Plans for the 20th annual Safe Grad Night at Oliver Ames High School are in full swing! The event will take place on graduation night, Sunday, June 5, 2016 at OAHS.

Safe Grad Night is a gift given by the Easton community for the benefit of the OAHS graduating class of 2016. It has become a tradition that provides an all-night, alcohol/drug free graduation event where the graduates have the chance to celebrate their achievement with a night of fun, entertainment, activities, and food in a safe environment. Parents of graduates can relax knowing that the graduates are enjoying themselves and are safe. The graduates check-in at 11pm on June 5th and enjoy the all-night affair until 5am on Monday morning.

The school does not fund this event. This event is a gift from the Easton Community to the graduates of our high school. Each year, the Safe Grad Committee reaches out to the school district, parents, community members and local businesses to help fund and volunteer at this event, and it cannot take place without all of their participation.

We need your help! There are several ways that the Easton community can support the Graduates of Oliver Ames High School.

One way is to provide Gift Card donations for prizes that night. Prizes are a big part of the evening and the seniors love them! Donations of gift cards from area businesses in any amount are always welcome. Last year, the committee gave more than 70 “prize packs” of gift cards to the seniors. Please mail your donations to Safe Grad Night, c/o 20 Canton Street, North Easton MA 02356

Another way the community can help is to volunteer for a shift that night. The event runs on volunteers. There will be three shifts that night: Set up (6 - 8 PM) ; Event action (10 PM - 3 AM); Cleanup ( 3 - 5 AM). We need help in all 3 shifts. If you can volunteer, please contact use our SignupGenius webpage. Access through our website: www.OASafeGrad.org.

And lastly, the Easton community can fund the event with donations. You can mail them in to: OA Safe Grad Night, 101 Lothrop Street, North Easton, MA 02356. Or you can also use our new GoFundMe account (search for “OA Safe Grad” at GoFundMe.com). Or access through our website: www.OASafeGrad.org.

Tickets for the evening will be sold in advance at OAHS. Privilege forms for ticket sales are available in the high school office or on the website – www.OASafeGrad.org. All the activities and food for the evening are included with a ticket purchase.

Our community is proud of our graduates and the seniors of the graduating class are grateful for the community’s support.
