The Oliver Ames softball team won't have to travel far for the first round of the MIAA Div. 1 South Sectional Tournament Thursday afternoon. In fact, the No. 23 Tigers will take a familiar trip down route 106 to play Hockomock League rival, No. 10 Mansfield at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The Tigers won the Davenport Division this year with a 10-10 overall record, which earned them a playoff bid. Mansfield, 14-6, placed third in the Kelly-Rex Division of the Hockomock League. In their meeting earlier this year, on April 24, Mansfield defeated Oliver Ames 3-2 in nine innings.
