Emergency Officials Respond to two accidents and an outdoor fire Thursday night and Friday morning.

Two separate motor vehicle accidents sent two Easton residents to the hospital Thursday night and early Friday morning, Police and Fire officials said Friday morning.

The first accident, on Route 138, Washington Street, sent Sean Govey, 21, of 18 Olde Stable Ln, Easton to a Boston hospital in a medflight helicopter after he drove his 1998 Ford Explorer through a fence and into a telephone pole at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Fire Lieutenant Mike Greene said Govey suffered a "serious head injury" from the crash. As of Friday morning, emergency officials had no update on his status.

The crash shut down power in the area for four hours while crews worked to fix the pole, Greene said.

"National Grid did an amazing job restoring power that quickly considering the amount of work required because of the sheer load of equipment on that pole," he said.

Greene said that while responding to the crash, Fire Chief Kevin Partridge noticed a small fire behind a residence on Washington, which was extinguished before it was able to spread.

Early Friday morning, at 2:45, emergency officials responded to a rollover accident on Depot Street.

Krajcik said Ryan Luttrell, 18, of 785 Foundry St, Easton fell asleep and rolled his 1998 Jeep Cherokee over "several times."

He was transported to Good Samaritan in Brockton with minor injuries.

Krajcik said he will be cited for a marked lines violation.

Both accidents are under investigation by Easton Police Officers Keith Boone and Sean Lynch, Krajcik said.

Greene said he was happy with the work done by his crew.

"I'd also like to express how impressed I was with my guys and their work at all three calls," he said. "The guys did a great job [and are] consummate professionals."
