Police Investigate a Breaking and Entering Incident on Penny Lane Wednesday

The homeowner was home when three men broke into the house on Penny Lane.

 

Easton Police are on the lookout for a "newer" black Jeep Cherokee after a breaking and entering incident Wednesday afternoon on Penny Lane.

Police Chief Allen Krajcik said three men knocked on the front door of the home. The homeowner, who was home at the time, did not answer the door and the three men went to the back of the house and broke through a screen on an enclosed deck.

The homeowner scared off the intruders before anything was taken, Krajcik said.

The incident is under investigation by Det. Sgt. Michael Fox and Det. Darren Mangott.
