Police Log: Cell Phone Stolen From Vehicle

Monday, July 28

At 10:37 a.m., police was notified of a two-car accident on Foundry Street, with one car off the road and into the woods. Fire department was notified and the vehicle was towed.At 3:14 p.m., on Lothrop Street, resident Kyle Scannell, of 182 Main Street, was placed under arrest on a warrant.

At 9:45 a.m., a resident reported larceny at Jay’s Corner Convenience. Resident told police his cell phone was stolen from his vehicle.At 11:25 a.m., on Welch Road, Melissa Curtis, of 44 Welch Road, was placed under arrest on a warrant and transported to Taunton District Court.At 5:55 p.m., a motorist reported he had a flat tire and hit something on Main Street near Immaculate Conception. Police checked the area of Immaculate Conception and nothing was found.At 9:42 p.m., police were notified that the manager of Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub on Belmont Street escorted an arguing couple out of the restaurant and they continued to argue outside of the business. The situation was resolved.

Wednesday, July 30

At 1:44 a.m., police were notified of a domestic violence incident on Bay Road. The caller reported that her family member stabbed her thumb with a pen. Both parties refused medical attention. Deborah Rosenberger, of 568 Bay Road, was put under arrest for domestic abuse with bail set at $2,540.
