Police Log: Man Arrested After Report of Person With a Gun

Thursday, July 31
At 7:23 a.m., a caller reported a restraining order violation to the police on Bay Road. Deborah Rosenberger, of 568 Bay Road, was put under arrest for a restraining order violation and transported to the police station.

At 6:28 p.m. police responded to a domestic situation on Whittier Lane. Caller reported that her family member had been verbally abusive and had a knife. She was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center.
At 8:33 p.m., there were two 911 calls from residents on Gaslight Lane reporting a group of four males and one female. Callers reported they heard several people screaming “He has a gun.” Jacob Leppo, of 8 Gaslight Lane in North Easton, was put under arrest for assault with a dangerous weapon with a set bail at $5,000.

At 9:06 p.m., police responded to a call that a male in a dark pickup truck was reported at a new construction site at Queset on the Pond, Roosevelt Circle, and was loading his pickup with building materials. Robert Amoroso, of 39 Poquanticut Avenue in North Easton, was put under arrest for larceny; bail was set at $540.
Friday, Aug. 1
At 10:29 a.m., a disabled tractor trailer was reported to the police on Washington Street. The vehicle was reported to have its brakes smoking. Easton Fire Department sprayed the brakes and extinguished the smoke.
At 8:35 p.m., police responded to a call of a person attempting to capture three loose dogs, two golden retrievers and a Staffordshire terrier, running between parking lots on Belmont Street. Officers were able to catch two of the dogs, while one golden retriever took off. The caller took the dogs home and will keep them until claimed.
Saturday, Aug. 2
At 8:16 a.m., a 911 caller requested police on Dalton Circle in regards to her son who was knocking on her front door. She said that her son has a violent history and is not welcome on her property. The officer gave the son a verbal warning and told him not trespass on the property. An emergency restraining order was granted.
At 4:43 p.m., police received an open 911 call with a male voice swearing in the background. Police was unable to make contact with the male or owner of phone listed on Chestnut Street. Police went to the residence and there was no answer at the door. Recent tire tracks indicated that the person left the area and was unable to be located.
Sunday, Aug. 3
At 8:06 p.m., police reported a domestic situation on Randall Street where the caller requested an officer to standby while she goes outside to collect items her family member brought over. She was staying with her uncle after a domestic situation she had with her family member yesterday at their home in Raynham. Caller was advised of her 209A rights and declined them at the time.
At 9:48 p.m., police responded to a caller who reported a domestic situation with her family member on Randall Street. Both parties were advised their rights and declined them at the time.
Monday, Aug. 4
At 4:01 a.m., police responded to a caller reporting a suspicious vehicle on Washington Street that has been parked outside for 45 minutes with its headlights on. The caller’s husband believed the operator of the car may be slumped over the wheel. Gregory Scott Veronesi, of 83 Summer Street West in Brockton, and Eric King Jr., of 32 Loring Ave., in Whitman, were arrested for drug violations. Vehicle was towed by Easton Police Department and and the subjects were transported by ambulance. Veronesi and King both have bail set at $290.
