Police Log: Suspect Arrested Near Church for Heroin Possession

Excerpts from the Easton Police Department log.

Wednesday, Feb. 25

At 10:54 a.m., police arrested Devin Scott Gallello, 22, 43 Butler Way of Stoughton, on an arrest warrant and Class D drug possession. Police arrested Gallello after they responded to a disabled motor vehicle near Depot Street and Black Brook Road. The vehicle was towed.

At 2:09 p.m., police reported assault and battery on Roche Bros Way.

At 11:55 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident involving a deer on Massapoag Avenue.

Thursday, Feb. 26

At 4:54 a.m., police reported attempted breaking and entering on Meetinghouse Lane.

At 7:42 a.m., police reported a two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Central Street and Depot Street.

At 9:41 a.m., police reported vandalism of a motor vehicle on Serenade Park.

Friday, Feb. 27

At 8:33 a.m., police reported three vehicles that were a road hazard at Oliver Ames High School on Lothrop Street.

At 2:37 p.m., police summonsed a 35-year-old male from Brockton for an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration on Turnpike Street.

At 4:43 p.m., police reported breaking and entering into a residence on Sheridan Street.

Saturday, Feb. 28

At 6:45 p.m., police reported a two-car motor vehicle accident with property damage at the intersection of Foundry Street and Old Foundry Street. Two vehicles were towed.

Sunday, March 1

At 1:34 a.m., police summonsed a 28-year-old male from Quincy for leaving the scene of property damage and a marked lanes violation. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Bay Road.

At 1:29 p.m., police summonsed a 26-year-old male from South Easton for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and an uninsured motor vehicle. Police responded to a motor vehicle offense on Cinnamon Circle.

At 2:03 p.m., police arrested Jamie Wrona, 40, 250 Dulude Ave. apt. no. 1 of Woonsocket, RI, for possession of heroin. Police reported a motor vehicle offense in front of Holy Cross Fathers on Washington Street which subsequently led to Wrona’s arrest. The vehicle, a 2005 Ford Explorer, was towed.

Monday, March 2

At 7:35 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Eastman Street.
