Police Report Breaking and Entering on Center Street
A residential break-in last week highlights today's police and fire log.

An alleged breaking and entering incident on Center Street is under investigation after a resident called at approximately 12:30 p.m. Monday.
The caller told police that their house may have been broken into and the back door was open. The caller was not sure if the intruder was still inside. Police responded while the resident waited outside and, upon arrival, confirmed a past breaking and entering.

A construction worker across the street confirmed with police that a white jeep with a white male party on a cell phone was at the house earlier that day.

Early Tuesday morning, an employee of reported a breaking and entering at the building overnight.
An officer confirmed the break-in and that $100 was taken from the store.
Accident on Washington and Main Wednesday
One person was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center by the Easton Fire Department after a two car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Washington Street and Main Street Wednesday at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Operating Under the Influence Arrest Made Early Friday
A 21-year-old New Jersey man was arrested for drunk driving at College early Friday morning.
Joshua Tozier, 21, of Mendham, NJ was arrested for operating under the influence after Easton Police responded to assist Stonehill Police at approximately 1:30 a.m. Friday.
Tozier was released on $100 bail and brought to Mansfield for a breathalyzer.
