Oreos is betting on it: The company is rolling out a new limited edition flavor - Red Velvet - just in time for Valentine’s Day.

This new variety features a completely new cookie flavor (and color) for the first time since the debut of the Golden OREO in 2004, according to company officials. The new Oreos will have a red cookie and a cream cheese-flavored cream filling.
Red velvet cake, which has become increasingly popular over the past years, is a dark red or bright red cake, usually topped with a cream cheese frosting.
