Region Roundup: Citizens Bank Robbery; Deutsche Bank; Truck Crashes into Home

Stoughton Police are looking for the suspect involved in the Wednesday evening robbery of Citizens Bank in the at 278 Washington St.

The suspect is described as a white female, 5'4", and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark glasses and a dark colored Red Sox baseball cap, Lt. Fran Wohlgemuth of the said.

The robbery took place at 6:28 p.m. on September 6.

The unarmed suspect passed a note to the teller, Wohlgemuth said. The amount stolen is undetermined.

As the final day of the Deutsche Bank Championship started for leader Louis Oosthuizen, history was not on his side despite having the lowest 54 hole score in tournament history. Like previous record holders Mike Weir (2008) and Jason Day (2010), the success that came in the earlier rounds could not help lock up a win, but rather led to a second place finish as Rory McIlroy came from three back to win the tournament.

Sharon officials have announced that railroad parking passes for the Sharon MBTA rail station for Oct. 1-Dec. 31 will go on sale this Thursday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. 

To purchase a pass, residents can visit the Town of Sharon website. Passes will be $85 for the quarter, and can be purchased with a MasterCard, Visa or debit card, and residents will need to have their registration information handy when ordering, according to the Sharon town website.

Two home owners on Washington Street in Canton were not injured after a pick-up truck crashed into their house around 3:08 a.m. Saturday, according to the Canton Fire Department.

After receiving a report of the accident, Canton fire crews found the truck with an unconcious male occupant inside of it at the scene, and had a difficult time extricating him because of the unstable structure of the home, John Hutchinson of the Canton Fire Department wrote in an email to Canton Patch Saturday.
