Route 24 Crash: Pedestrian Killed In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, MA — A 26-year-old Boston man was struck and killed Christmas Eve after he left his vehicle following a crash on Route 24, police said.

Police said Darkeem Kelow was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox in the left lane on Route 24 South when his vehicle struck a 2004 Honda Civic around 9:20 p.m. Kelow left his vehicle and "ran" into the left lane on the northbound side, where he was struck by a Ford Escape. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male passenger in the Civic and the male driver of the Escape went to Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries.

Police are investigating the incident.
