South Shore Conservatory Pianist Wins Beethoven Award at the University of Rhode Island

South Shore Conservatory (SSC) congratulates piano student Reagan George of Easton, who won the "Beethoven Award” for most dramatic playing in the Little Pianists Division of the University of Rhode Island's Piano Extravaganza Competition in March.

Ten-year-old Reagan, a student of South Shore Conservatory piano instructor HuiMin Wang, is a student in the fifth grade at the Richardson Olmsted Elementary School in North Easton. According to Wang, winning this award was particularly exciting for Reagan, as last year the Beethoven award was not even presented in her division.
