Students in the district communities are encouraged to pre-register for showcase workshops

Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School is hosting its annual Open House on Saturday, November 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 250 Foundry Street, in South Easton. Prospective students are encouraged to attend and experience “Education with Purpose.”

This year, current eighth graders in Southeastern’s district, which includes Brockton, Easton, East Bridgewater, Foxboro, Mansfield, Norton, Sharon, Stoughton and West Bridgewater, are encouraged to pre-register for showcase workshops. The workshops will be taking place in all of the school’s vocational programs starting at 11:15 a.m. Students can pre-register at admissions.sersd.org for one, two or three showcase experiences.

The prospective applicants will be able to attend three 30-minute showcase workshops which will focus on the educational experience and career options in each vocational program. Both vocational and academic teachers will be partnering to host the workshops and they will be supervising hands-on activities for the participants. Southeastern students will also be available to demonstrate their skills and answer questions about their school experiences.
