STI Practical Nurse Program Graduates 24 Local Students
The students are ready to take their NCLEX-PN exam, which will enable them to work as Licensed Practical Nurses.

Twenty four students will soon start careers as practical nurses, after graduating from Southeastern Technical Institute (STI), in South Easton, on January 7. The students, who have completed a two-year evening program, are now ready to take their NCLEX-PN exam, which, if passed, enables them to work as Licensed Practical Nurses.
Four students also were given awards and scholarships based on their academic performance. Sarah Bates, of West Bridgewater, received the Academic Achievement Award (highest GPA), Mallory Oliva, of South Attleboro, and Terri Kukla, of North Easton, received Clinical Excellence Awards, and Ignace Valcourt, of Brockton, received a scholarship from the Southeastern Teachers Federation and the Perfect Attendance award.

Southeastern Technical Institute (STI), stitech.org, provides training in a diverse range of vocational fields, which are geared to meet the training needs of the community and local businesses. The school currently offers day and evening programs that include Practical Nurse; Dental Assisting; Medical Assisting; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Culinary Arts; and Cosmetology. The school also offers several part-time evening programs designed to meet the training needs of the community.
