Stonehill to Host Award Winning Local Photographer

Mary Beth Meehan is the creator of City of Champions, a photo project exploring the diverse images and identities of Brockton, Ma. She will lecture on her project as we investigate the role of Public Art in Civic Engagement. Her photos will be featured in the city’s first ever outdoor art installation, with enlarged banners of her work hung from buildings and parking structures throughout downtown. Tours began Saturday, Sept. 24 and will continue on Saturdays throughout the Fall.

Self-guided tours can be taken anytime and maps and other resources are available from the Brockton Enterprise website. Brochures will be available at the talk and at other locations to be announced.
