Taunton Murder: Suspect Arrested

An arrest has been made in the murder of a 23-year-old Taunton man this week.

TAUNTON, MA — The suspect in a Taunton murder this week has been captured, authorities said.

Miguel Marrero, 20, of Taunton, was captured in Roxbury Friday afternoon, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn.

He's accused of fatally shooting Gordon Weekes, of Taunton, 23.

The shooting happened Thursday morning on 5th Avenue.

Marrero will be arraigned Monday.
