Three From Sharon Arrested for Mansfield Car Break-in

A trio of Sharon were charged with breaking into a vehicle at a Mansfield apartment after getting arrested by Mansfield police early Monday morning.

Nicholas Lincoln, 19, was charged with larceny under $250, receiving stolen property over $250, breaking and entering into a vehicle/boat in the nighttime for a felony, possessing burglarious instruments, unlawful possession of fireworks, and conspiracy.

David Peres, 19, was charged with larceny under $250, breaking and entering into a vehicle/boat in the nighttime for a felony, conspiracy, and possession of burglarious instruments.

A 17-year-old juvenile from Sharon was charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle/boat in the nighttime for a felony, larceny over $250, and possession of burglarious instruments.

Police said the men may also be linked to other break-ins in Foxborough, Mansfield, and Easton according to the Sun Chronicle.

Assistant District Attorney Noah Ertel added that the suspects admitted to breaking into and stealing objects from cars in Mansfield and Easton.

According to police, the men were arrested after an officer noticed two of them acting suspiciously near a parked car at an apartment complex at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 1.

When asked what they were doing, the men said they were waiting for a friend to pick them up. The third suspect was seen a distance away, watching the conversation between the officer and the two suspects.

The officer questioned the third suspect and found a car with items including tools and a GPS device.

The suspects were arrested and the car was impounded.

The two adults were arraigned Tuesday morning in Attleboro District Court. The juvenile will appear in juvenile court.
