Title IX Complaint Filed Against Stonehill College in Wake of Reported Rape
An attorney representing a Stonehill student says her client's rights to an equal educated were violated after she reported being raped.

A Boston lawyer representing a Stonehill College student who was allegedly raped at an off-campus party in February has filed a Title IX complaint seeking a federal investigation of Stonehill College.
Wendy Murphy says her client’s rights to an equal education were violated after she reported being raped according to the Enterprise.
The complaint claims that the student’s federal civil rights under Title IX was violated through the college’s handling of the reported sexual assault. Murphy said that the complaint “seeks remedial action” with regard to Stonehill’s “response to sex-based violence” after the reported rape.

In a statement, Stonehill College said they would cooperate if they are contacted by federal officials.
