Two Arrested in Easton on Cocaine Distribution Charges

On April 14, 2015 at around 4:30 p.m., Easton police detectives made two arrests in the parking lot of Highland Variety Store on Highland Street for drug possession and distribution of cocaine.
Seized from the arrest was 2006 Honda, $1,300 cash and about 3.5 grams of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.
Bernard Medero Jr, 39, of Brockton, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to violate the drug law, possession of Class B with intent to distribute, possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute, and carrying a dangerous weapon (brass knuckles). Also arrested was William Martin, age 34, of South Easton. Martin was charged with possession of cocaine and conspiracy to violate drug law.

The arrests were the result of ongoing drug investigations by the Easton Police detectives. Both were released on $100 cash bail and will be appearing in Taunton District Court this morning.
