Two Human Remains, One Dismembered, Found in Brockton Woods

The remains of two human bodies were discovered in Brockton this week.

Two bodies, one appearing to be female, were discovered in the woods near North Quincy Street on Sunday, WCVB reported.

Investigators believe one of the bodies was dismembered, according to Necn.

Brockton police were notified of apparent remains found in the wooded area near several single-family homes on Sunday afternoon, Necn reported.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz confirmed the remains were of two humans on Monday.

The bodies appeared to have “significant decomposition” and medical examiners are working to identify the victims, according to WCVB.
