WEATHER ALERT: Dangerous Wind Chills, Days of Snow Ahead
Another foot-plus of snow could hit Massachusetts over the weekend and into Tuesday.

Heavy snow may be on the way for Easton on Thursday. Expect 1 to 3 inches of snow, Weather.com reports.
Easton should also expect gusty winds up to 20 to 30 miles per hour, and occasionally over 40 miles per hour.

The snow isn’t expected to fall at the rate that we experienced during the Blizzard of 2015 or the Groundhog Day storm. Instead, the storm will be spread out over three or four days, according to forecasters.
Before we even get to more snow, Massachusetts will brave dangerous wind chills on Thursday night and Friday morning.
Easton may get about one inch of snow on Saturday and 1 to 3 inches on Sunday morning and 1 to 3 inches on Sunday night, Weather.com reports.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory from 6 p.m. Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday. Temperatures are expected to fall below zero overnight with bitterly cold wind chills that could lead to frostbite and hypothermia, according to the NWS.
Temperatures in Easton could drop to 9 below zero with winds reaching 15 to 25 miles per hour on Thursday night, Weather.com reports.
Forecasters are predicting that Friday will be partly cloudy with highs likely in the low 20s.
Saturday may see snow showers before heavy snow falls on Sunday and Monday.
The NWS said “several episodes of accumulating snow are likely with the risk of significant snowfall greatest Sunday and Monday.”
It’s still too early as of Thursday morning to know exact snowfall amounts, but 7News’ Chris Lambertsaid to expect:
- 1-2 inches of snow on Saturday midday and afternoon.
- Several inches of snow on Sunday.
- Light to moderate snow producing at least several more inches on Monday.
- Snow tapers off on Tuesday afternoon.
The Weather Channel said parts of Massachusetts may see another foot-plus from the multi-day snow.
This latest snow forecast comes within two weeks since the Blizzard of 2015, the Groundhog Day storm and a handful of smaller storms have dumped more than four feet of snow on parts of Massachusetts.
